The Secret by an Indian !!

One of my friends told me to read this book "The Secret" by Rhonda byrne, and said me that i should also watch the video which will change your entire perception of life. I dint take it serious. Was thinking it would just be some advise or stupid logic as usual. I dont have interest in reading books to be very frank. Even one day in college my friends were discussing on this topic but i was least interested.

I was not feeling sleepy one night so thought why not watch this secret. hmmm.... Turned on my lappy and started watching the video. Wow !! The Video was really conveying something and the sequences were kinda scary but made me think. I even did get goosebumps. The law of attraction and the whole world reacting to your thoughts was picturised  in such a manner that i was amused like this Secret really works and i called up my friend who had read the book but not seen the video to watch it.


Now, i believed in this thing but today when i was having dinner i just got reminded of a saying in Tamil " Manam Irundhal Maargam Undu" which means when you have full passion and interest towards one thing from your heart there is always a path for that. I think these four words just completed the whole book and video of the secret. Because " The Secret" also conveys the same thing.


You must be wondering what am i trying to convey or prove here..??? Am just saying that this tamil proverb was said atleast some 60 years back from now, where as " The secret" book was released in 2006. Proud to be an Indian and hats off to the person who conveyed the whole secret which created so much of hype in just four words. :)

Too much of show off is not good for health :(

Hmmm... well , to start with... My friend had come home.. both were damn hungry.. we were thinking of where to go... Pani Puri he exclaimed :) am like let's go.... !! Believe me or not , in chennai where generally one plate of pani puri costs 20rs .. at this place it was just 10rs... i was like :O... next the taste, shi* man !! that was the best i had till date... very spicy n yum it was.... then had a sandwich which i only dreamt of having... fabulous , fantastic, superb n we left tat place with so much enthusiasm.
           Next we guys decided to have good juice so headed to the famous Fruit shop where in you can find pretty n cute girls in plenty. That place was worth it. But our bad luck there wasnt any of tat sort. We were disappointed n lookin through the menu n thought of ordering lime juice which was the cheapest of all. Our fortune, entered two cute girls n they were seated behind our table. Changed our order with a louder tone so tat the girls could hear.. From lime juice i hopped to CALYPSO some strawberry related juice and my friend ordered for (.......)sorry i don remember its name , but it costed 65rs... we guys were kinda shifting places so that the girls atleast look at us... nothin worked.. We said to the waiter that he need not hurry to bring in our order... "just take your own time" i said :)... dunno wat those girls were discussing but we were getting annoyed... the waiter came wid the juice... i happily with so much excitement took a sip and it tasted yukk..... shi* man i thought... was not sure if had enough currency in my wallet... my friend ordered for a melody based pudding... even that tasted yukkk... But somehow my friend liked it ... I was happy for him :P

         Finally we settled the bill and left of with a little disappointment that its better to order what u have already had rather than trying something new  in front of two cute girls who never gave a damn about ppl around them and that too when u r paying for it... :(

Moral:  Try new food stuff wen someone is treating .... shi* man :( sob sob

Are celebrities really different from we ppl ??

Hi guys,
This is one thought i always had... Are celebrities really diff from us?? Here "us" i meant are ppl who are not on screen , the normal public... hmmm....Here is one instance where i got to meet and observe few celebs live in front of my eyes. Last few weeks i have met few "little" famous celebrities and to my suprise i played a cricket match with them... this match was organised as a part of our gym " In- shape's" sports day... :) This was held in the commisioner officer ground , Guindy, Chennai. Am not mentioning the celebrity names. you will know why :P
          I know its kinda funny, but it was a nice idea to get to know new ppl. Well , now let's move on to the celebrity part. The celebrities were our opponents. Our team won the toss and our lovely , humourous captain, our coach and instructor Vijay opted to field first. It was a ten over match. Our team was not as strong as the opponents. Their team included celebrities you see. :P ( I was scared if they will outplay us with a huge margin )
          Here starts the match... 1st over 12 runs. 2nd over the captain asked me to bowl. All eyes on me. Am shivering internally cos i was bowling to a professional cricketer. My over went like dis (  0 wicket 1 4byes 6 1).I was applauded by the captian. I bowled the 4th over again. I gave off 14 runs of it and again a wicket. After 10 overs their total was a mammoth 141/5. The special ppl.. ie.. celebs had scored only 22 runs together.(4 celebs). Were they specail?? I dont think so.... That professional cricketer scored infact hammered around 80 odd runs... Fabulous was his style of play. Was thinking to imitate his style when my turn for batting came.
        Here starts the 2nd innings... I opened the batting. one celeb was the wicketkeeper.. I was again scared thinking what would the celeb think if i get out in a folly manner. Felt like i would play better than that professional. But ..... :( I could score only 11 runs... :( My team totally scored 44 runs. And yeah we lost by a huge margin. But but but it was not the celebs who won the game for them , it was the normal " little infamous ppl" like me who won the game for them.  It was total funnnnn with the celebs. They kept us entertained the whole day. I mean it was super funnn. That is where i understood why they are a little famous than us. Sheer entertainment was what they guaranteed us to keep the game lively.. Kudos!!!!
