Wow.... I got promoted to 1st std !!! excited i was.... cos it gave me a number :P To start with, i was the 2nd shortest guy in the class... even the girls were taller than me.... :( my friend Dinesh was the shortest and i was quite relieved as he gave me company.... everyone used to tease me as " chuha " ( rat ) n i used to get so angry n frustrated , at times i even abuse the person calling me by that name....
Ooty is such a cold place as u all know, i used to wear sweater, full pants, tie to class... My pants were just 2ft long :P but it was cute.... :)) We boys always were very aware n proactive whenever a girl was around... plz hold on your thoughts.... i meant to say, we never touched girls cos we had it in mind a baby would get formed... @@@@ well we actually had this thinking.... But boys r always boys , waiting for a chance to push other ppl on girls... this used to happen , n it was funn too :D.....
I never used to study well.... winter exams i ranked 17th out of 18 ppl in class.... i was like ??? Reason explained was cos my handwriting was the worst n no teacher could understand it... but i dint take it serious... we always have a homework class from 6 to 730pm... One day I and Dinesh were made the class reps.. And it so happened that we both ended up writing all the names of our class on the board for even murmuring... And if anyone raised a question like " Y my name?? " i used to add a (*) next to their name meaning very important... It was complete honesty from my side :P
Class 1 was really adventurous and i did make good friends :)) I was into gymnastics n i loved it ... :) I participated in athletics in the sports day n my physical trainer Mr. Milton praised me telling i have it in me to make it big in track events... i felt happy... Now wen i recall, i think wasnt that too early to say ?? But guys, the truth is i am good at running n won many medals :)) Thanks to Mr. Milton :)
Many little things happened which i dont remember much... But ya the summer exams were over and i was back home vellore.. I got the results which said " 14th rank !!! can perform better. need to improve handwritng.. promoted to 2nd std "..... I was like wohooooooooo jumping all around.... but my parents werent happy for the facte i got 14th rank ... hmmm... What can i do about that ???
