ü  Google’s results trounced expectations with the help of strong advertising sales and deft cost controls, driving its shares roughly 6% higher.

ü  Apple Continues Jobs’ iMagic at @ 4S Retail Launch:
o   iPhone 4S’s Siri isn’t just a speech to text software that can take notes, type and send them. It is a brain of its own and can hold a conversation like a human Personal assistant would.

ü  Cairn India has submitted the technical feasibility report on the adequacy of surface facilities for handling and processing of additional production from Bhagyam, its 2nd largest oil field in Rajasthan.

ü  NTPC has resumed generation at 4,000mw coal starved projects and the coal ministry is working overtime to transport fuel to fuel-starved projects but the country’s electricity supply will improve only after four or five days.
